Kazakhstan national football team present new uniforms

By: Ilyas Omarov, member of AIPS:

This week, Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) and the company Errea Sport present new sets of game uniforms of the national team, produced with the assistance of UEFA under the program of support for equipment.

Last year KFF and UEFA concluded an agreement on creation and provision of new soccer outfit for national teams. The agreement includes the ability to create a custom outfit design that represents the national identity.

All equipment is certified under the OEKO-TEX standard, which sets extremely strict limits on substances harmful to health.

The uniforms are available in three sets – home (yellow), away (blue) and reserve (black). The outfit design was developed together with one of the major sports design companies in Kazakhstan – Creeon in cooperation with specialists from Errea Sport.

Note that in the design have been taken into account the views of our fans who voted for the image of national symbols and identity of the Kazakh people.

It should be noted that the first matches in the new soccer kit team of Kazakhstan will hold in June 2023 against San Marino and Northern Ireland.

UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme is a UEFA program aimed at providing the national association the opportunity to play and train in the highest quality equipment, with individual design, related to the rich culture, history and traditions of each country participating in the program. The program has been successfully implemented for 15 years.

The National football team was outfitted by six brands. It all started with Lotto. Italians equipped Kazakhstan team from 1992 to 1995. Then came Nike, with them the contract was the shortest-only two years. In 1997, they were replaced by Puma, which lasted eight years. In 2005 the federation returned to the Italian supplier, but this time it chose Diodora. It was in this legendary kit that Serbia was defeated 2-1, the first victory in an official UEFA match. After, the Italians were replaced by the English brand Umbro (2008-2012). The Germany supplier Adidas came in 2012. Ten years with him is the longest history for the Kazakhstan National team. Now this stage of history is over.
