Exciting line-up confirmed for AFC Member Associations and Regional Associations Presidents’ and General Secretaries’ Conference 2024

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today announced an illustrious list of speakers for its marquee AFC Member Associations (MAs) & Regional Associations (RAs) Presidents’ and General Secretaries’ Conference 2024, to be held from October 30 to November 1 in Seoul, Korea Republic.


Building on the success of the previous edition last year, which brought together AFC MAs and RAs’ Presidents and General Secretaries for the first time, the 2024 edition marks yet another significant milestone in strengthening the collaborative efforts between the Confederation and its members.

Hosted by the Korea Football Association, the Conference, themed ‘Building and Leading Great Organisations’, will feature a distinguished array of attendees, including FIFA President Gianni Infantino and AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, along with prominent representatives from sister confederations UEFA and OFC.

Shaikh Salman, who will open this year’s Conference, said: “Through constructive dialogue and the exchange of best practices from some of the most prominent experts in global football, we want to ensure our MAs and RAs are provided with the best possible tools and methods to lead, learn and inspire as we strive to set new benchmarks in governance and organisational excellence.

“At the heart of our Vision and Mission is helping our members realise their full potential. We must understand the challenges they face and provide tailored, practical solutions. Stronger MAs and RAs will create a more robust Asian football ecosystem, and this Conference is key to driving that progress.”

Among the many highlights of the Conference is a panel discussion on the final day, which will enable participants to share their knowledge and expertise that will further enable the leaders of Asian football to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and governance across all levels.
