National Karate Championships 2025 Commence with Spectacular Opening in Abbottabad.

Abbottabad, June 19, 2025 — The Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) proudly inaugurated the 31st National Men’s Karate Championship 2025, 17th National Women’s Karate Championship 2025, and 6th National Cadet & Junior Karate Championships 2025 with a vibrant opening ceremony held at the Government Post Graduate College No. 1, Abbottabad.
The event, attended by dignitaries, athletes, coaches, and officials from across the nation, marked the official kickoff of one of the most anticipated events on the national karate calendar.
The championships have drawn participation from all major provincial and departmental teams, including Pakistan Army, WAPDA, Railways, HEC, Police, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad, showcasing the depth of talent and competitive spirit across the country.
The Honorable Mr. Syed Fakhar Jehan, Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his keynote address, he reaffirmed the provincial government’s dedication to empowering youth and promoting sports at the grassroots and national levels. To further incentivize performance and celebrate excellence, he announced cash prizes for the top three performing teams.
Speaking on the occasion, PKF officials emphasized the role of these championships in fostering discipline, unity, and national pride, while providing a powerful platform for emerging karatekas to gain recognition and inspire future generations.
The competitions will continue over the coming days, featuring intense bouts, team spirit, and the highest standards of martial arts excellence.
