Al Nassr’s Bento ready for all possibilities

AIPS ASIA News:

Jeddah: Bento Krepski said Al Nassr are prepared for all scenarios in their AFC Champions League Elite™ Finals Jeddah 2025 quarter-final against Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday.

The goalkeeper believes sufficient preparation has been made to ensure that the Saudi Pro League side will come out trumps even if the match progressed to penalties.
“We are studying the players and of course we have done our homework on the opponents in case it goes to penalties,” said Bento.
“But we are focused first on winning the game in 90 minutes. If it goes to extra time and penalties, for sure we will be ready.”
The Brazilian was signed at the start of the season to replace the outgoing David Ospina and has proven himself to be an asset for the Riyadh-based club.
Selected for all 10 matches that Al Nassr have played on the continental stage this campaign, the 25-year-old has only let six goals past him, and none in their last three matches.
If Al Nassr can deny Marinos the space to play in the area, Bento and his teammates will be fairly confident that a fifth clean sheet can be achieved given the fact that the custodian has yet to concede a goal from outside the penalty box this campaign.
“We always enter the match to fight and win. We come here to Jeddah to fight for the title and we are ready for the match tomorrow.”
