D.Batjargal is the best journalist in Mongolia

The annual “Burte Chono-2025” awarding ceremony took place at Chinggis hotel with presence of Mongolia NOC leaders, Olympic medal winners, representatives from Government, Sports Ministry, National Sports Federations and media. Based on the votes of 46 sports journalists, World silver medalist wrestler Tulga Tumur-Ochir and World bronze medalist boxer Altantsetseg Lutsaikhan, are securing the Athlete of the Year title and receiving the top trophy. Upon accepting the award, Tulga said, “Thank you to everyone who recognized my hard work over the years and voted for me. I will continue to work even harder to become an Olympic medalist. My gratitude goes to my supporters, the Mongolian Wrestling Federation, my coaches, and my family.”

Altantsetseg Lutsaikhan /boxing/ – World Championship bronze medalist

Gankhaich Bold /judo/ – World Championship bronze medalist

Orkhon Purevdorj /female wrestling/ – World Championship bronze medalist

Tulga Tumur-Ochir /freestyle wrestling/ – World Championship silver medalist

Battulga Aldarkhishig /boxing/ – World Championship silver medalist

Yolk Kazirbyek /judo/ – World Championship bronze medalist

Women’s national 3×3 team /basketball/ – World Championship silver medalists

During the ceremony, the winner of Burte Chono-2025 among sports media became Dorjsuren Batjargal, reporter-anchor of Mongolian National Television. Mr. Batjargal has been working as sports journalist for 23 years and and created several unique programms, which attracted many viewers and sports family.
