The Pakistan National Senior Men’s Volleyball Team delivered an emphatic performance in the Semi-Final of the AVC Nations Cup 2025, defeating Qatar in straight sets (3-0) with scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-21, securing their place in the tournament’s final and marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s volleyball history.

This victory is particularly meaningful as it comes just a year after Pakistan was defeated by Qatar in the final of the AVC Challenge Cup 2024. Today’s result not only avenges that loss but also signals Pakistan’s steady rise in international volleyball.

Following this outstanding win, Pakistan has climbed to No. 39 in the FIVB World Rankings, while Qatar has dropped to No. 25, underlining the growing strength and consistency of the Pakistani team on the global stage.
