July 28, 2025: Pakistan’s U19 Men’s Volleyball Team continued their winning streak at the FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship 2025 by defeating Puerto Rico 3-0 in their fourth group-stage match held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. With set scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-15, the Pakistani team showed excellent teamwork, strong defense, and tactical discipline. This victory marks their fourth consecutive win in the tournament, placing them at the top of Pool A.
Pakistan scored a total of 72 points, including 39 attack points, 8 blocks, 2 service aces, and gained 23 points from Puerto Rico’s errors. Muhammad Yahya was the top scorer with 16 points, while Muhammad Irfan followed closely with 14 points. Both players played key roles in keeping the pressure on Puerto Rico throughout the match.
President of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Sohail Khawar Mir, congratulated the team and said that the players have made the nation proud.
