The best football esports talents in Asia will convene in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah when the inaugural AFC eChampions League Elite (eACL Elite) kicks off on April 24, 2025.

Hosted at the spectacular King Abdullah Sports City Sports Hall, the landmark event will run alongside the AFC Champions League Elite™ Finals Jeddah 2025, where the Continent’s top eight clubs will compete for glory from April 25 to May 3.
 
The eACL Elite will feature 1v1 contests on gaming consoles using KONAMI’s eFootball™ 2025 video game. Mirroring Asia’s premier men’s club competition, the event is exclusive to clubs that participated in the 2024/25 edition of the AFC Champions League Elite™, with teams competing in a League Stage format within their respective East and West regions.
 
The League Stage, taking place on April 24 and 25, will determine the pairings for the Knockout Stage, which will adopt a best-of-three format.
 
After the Round of 16 is completed on April 26, a draw ceremony will determine Saturday’s Quarter-final clashes, removing the East-West regional divide.
 
The Semi-finals and Final will then follow on April 28, where the first-ever AFC eChampions League Elite winners will be crowned.
 
The Confederation’s latest venture into the digital realm, the eACLE Elite, promises to add an exciting new dimension to the highly anticipated AFC Champions League Elite Finals, while also marking the beginning of a new chapter in the AFC’s continuous efforts to establish football as the number one sport across the Continent.
