Migu appointed Official Media Partner of AFC’s national team and club competitions in China
Through this multi-year collaboration, Migu will deliver extensive broadcast coverage of AFC competitions via its flagship platform, Migu Video, offering fans in China PR unparalleled access to premier Asian football content.
The partnership encompasses a comprehensive portfolio of competitions, including the AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26, the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™, the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™, and the AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament (Final Round) for Los Angeles 2028.
AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John said: “China PR is home not only to some of Asia’s finest teams and clubs, but also has an enthusiastic fanbase, so we are delighted to welcome Migu as our latest partner to our media rights family.
“We look forward to working together with Migu to bring the AFC’s best-in-class competitions closer to our passionate supporters in China PR and further strengthening the stature of Asian football through their innovative and engaging platforms.”
The agreement, which was announced at the 2025 MIGU ECOSYSTEM CONFERENCE earlier today, also includes youth and futsal tournaments such as the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026™ and 2028, the AFC U20 Asian Cup 2027™, the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ from 2026 to 2028, the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026™ and 2028, the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ from 2026 to 2028, and the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026™ and 2028. Additionally, Migu will broadcast the AFC’s premier club competitions, including the AFC Champions League Elite™, AFC Champions League Two™, and AFC Women’s Champions League™ from the 2025/26 to 2028/29 seasons.
Migu Video currently covers over 30 event categories and more than 9,000 sports events, spanning multiple terminals including smartphones, smart TVs and VR devices. Migu Video will bring the AFC’s competitions closer to fans than ever before, combining cutting-edge technology with immersive viewing experiences.
