AESF AND LUNATONE PARTNER TO ADVANCE INNOVATION AND PROMOTE SENIORS’ INITIATIVES IN ESPORTS

Hong Kong, China–January 15, 2025–The Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LunaTone Inc. to enhance technological innovation and inclusivity in esports. The signing ceremony took place on January 15, 2025, with Mr. Steve Kim, Chief Operating Officer of AESF, and Dr. Baro Hyun, Founder and CEO of LunaTone Inc., representing their respective organizations.LunaTone Inc. is renowned for its transformative approach to digital content, specializing in games, esports, and the metaverse. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, LunaTone aims to revolutionize business operations and strengthen community engagement through interactive content. This collaboration focuses on advancing innovation and technology in esports and promoting esports for seniors’ initiatives. LunaTone will serve as a member of the AESF Technology &Innovation Commission, providing expert guidance on emerging technologies and innovative practices applicable to the esports industry. Both parties will engage in joint research and development projects to drive technological progress in the esports ecosystem. In addition, AESF and LunaTonewill co-develop initiatives that encourage senior citizen participation in esports. Collaborative efforts will bring esports events and tournaments to communities, furthering greater engagement among seniors. Joint studies will be conducted to evaluate the benefits and challenges of esports for seniors, using insights to enhance future programs. Outreach campaigns will be launched to raise awareness of esports’ positive impact on seniors’ mental and physical well-being. Mr. Steve Kim emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “This collaboration withLunaTone strengthens our commitment to driving technological advancements and promoting inclusivity within the esports community. By expanding opportunities for underrepresented groups, including senior esports athletes and emerging talent across Asia, we are creating a more diverse and dynamic esports ecosystem.
