Seoul: November 20,2025: The Republic of Korea’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Chae Hwi-young, has expressed his delight over Busan being selected to host the 2025 World Conference on Doping in Sport—marking the first time the prestigious event will take place in Asia.
Speaking on behalf of the Korean government, the minister reaffirmed the country’s longstanding commitment to safeguarding the integrity of sport and promoting fair play. He noted that Korea, as a representative member on the WADA Foundation Board, has consistently worked with the global sporting community to strengthen anti-doping measures and ensure a level playing field for athletes.
